Teknisk Komité, Elektra's engineering team
I founded the technical committee inside Elektra, the student association for electronics students at NTNU, and have led it since. It is the engineering team for the association: small, volunteer, and responsible for the software the rest of the association runs on.
What we own
- elektra.io. The main association website. Accounts, events, billing, calendar, profile pages, role management, the lot.
- Internal tooling. Small services that solve real problems for the board and the rest of the association, from event-day utilities to integrations with the tools the association already uses.
- The development process. Code review, deployments, an environment where new committee members can ship without breaking things.
The leadership part
Most of the work that matters is not code. It is onboarding the next committee member, deciding which features are worth our limited evenings, saying no to well-meaning requests, and writing the documentation that means the committee survives me leaving for industry. Running a small engineering team (even a volunteer one) has been one of the most useful things I have done as a student.
